The ninth competition for catching the King fish was held at Al-Fahaheel Marine Club with the participation of 195 teams, including teams from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

Mr. Fadel Al-Dosari, the CEO, distributed the prizes to the winners as follows:

First Place: Prize value of 2000 Kuwaiti Dinars.

Second Place: Prize value of 1500 Kuwaiti Dinars.

Third Place: Prize value of 1000 Kuwaiti Dinars.

Fourth Place: Prize value of 700 Kuwaiti Dinars.

Fifth Place: Prize value of 500 Kuwaiti Dinars.

An additional prize was allocated for the largest Hamour fish, with a value of 100 Kuwaiti Dinars. Four prizes, each worth 200 Kuwaiti Dinars, were also allocated for participants through a draw, excluding those who won the top five positions.
